Motor Control Center Buildings

BMarko Structures ™ Motor Control Center Buildings are custom designed for each individual MCC project. Our prefabricated MCC building can be delivered to the job site for the MCC equipment to be installed at its final location or may be delivered with the equipment installed beforehand. BMarko’s exterior enclosures utilize two different building assemblies determined by you panelized or containerized.

MCC Enclosures Offer Centralized Access to Your Engineers

For larger application specifications, motor control center (MCC) consists of single or multiple enclosed parts ganged together. These assemblies allow electric motors to be operated by engineers in a central position. These setups may include motor starters, circuit breakers, programmable controllers, metering equipment, and more, usually found in large industrial buildings. MCCs can be used by any facility that operates a large number of electric motors, including the automobile industry and numerous industrial installations. BMarko Structures supplies the enclosure which protects MCC equipment.

Motor Control Center Building Applications

Motor control centers can differ greatly from project to project. BMarko also works to provide a brand new, exclusive MCC building for a facility to install its equipment. In other instances, we are either replacing an older external MCC building or having an MCC enclosure housed within the current facility. BMarko sells interior and exterior MCC buildings for both applications. Our MCC Enclosures can be equipped with high-powered HVAC systems to help regulate the environment inside the enclosure, particularly for installations looking to control dust and/or temperatures for their MCC.

Benefits of MCC Buildings

We deliver advantages that other producers just can’t match:

Reduced Lead Times

By reducing lead times by up to 50 percent compared to traditional stick-built construction, modular motor control centers provide a ready-to-use, plug-and-play solution. These MCC buildings do not need complex techniques for civil engineering. The fact that the production process takes place in a factory means reduced construction delays as the construction development is not based on weather conditions, making it much easier to handle lead times.

100% Custom Designs

Another advantage is the fact that MCC enclosures are built custom. The type of design you need, the number of units needed, and the characteristics that suit your preferences can be all be specific to your order. As far as customizing a motor control center building is concerned, the possibilities are almost infinite.

Cost-Effective

Cost is one of the most significant advantages of a modular MCC building. When you take into account the time to install, as well as the on-site electrician ‘man-hours’ that you save, modular building is undeniably cheaper. The modular construction of an MCC building aims to minimize construction costs by up to 20%. When building the module, this allows for more stable costs and schedules.

Ship Ready-To-Use

Our modules come wrapped in plastic from the manufacturer and ready for their jobs ahead. Transportation and installation may be given upon request.

Optimal Use Of Space

Another interesting feature of MCC enclosures is that they don’t need a lot of room. For places with difficult access, this gives them a smart solution. In addition, due to its space-saving features, you can mount the structure anywhere without interfering with other on-site activities.

Manufactured To Meet Codes & Compliances In The United States & Beyond

BMarko has completed projects in many different states and countries during our years of work in the modular construction industry. This involves working to match into certain jurisdictions’ more distinctive municipal building codes. In addition, BMarko provides a range of custom options to offer greater R-Values, STC Ratings, and Fire Ratings to the MCC building.
